Privacy policy

This policy explains what we collect, why, and what you can ask us to do about it. It is written to be read rather than to be impenetrable.

What we collect

When you order: your name, delivery address, email address and phone number. We need all four to get a parcel to you and to tell you where it is.

When you pay: nothing. Card and UPI details go directly to our payment gateway, Razorpay, and never touch our servers. We see only whether a payment succeeded and a reference number.

When you browse: pages viewed, roughly where in the country you are, and which device, through Google Analytics. We use this to find pages that are broken or slow, and to see which products people look at.

Advertising

We use the Meta pixel to measure whether our ads on Facebook and Instagram lead to sales. When you place an order we tell Meta that a purchase happened, its value, and your email address and phone number in scrambled (hashed) form, so Meta can match the sale to an ad you saw. Meta cannot read your email address or phone number from what we send. You can control ad personalisation in your Facebook and Instagram settings.

Why we collect it

To fulfil your order, to tell you what is happening with it, to handle returns and refunds, to meet our tax and accounting obligations, to measure our advertising, and to improve the site.

Who we share it with

Our courier, so they can deliver. Our payment gateway, so you can pay. Our email, SMS and WhatsApp providers, so you get order updates. Google and Meta, as described above. Nobody else, and we never sell your data.

How long we keep it

Order records are kept for eight years, which is what Indian tax law requires. Marketing consent is kept until you withdraw it.

Your rights

You can ask us for a copy of everything we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it — except for order records we are legally required to keep. Email us and we will action it within 30 days.

You can unsubscribe from marketing at any time from the link in any marketing email. Order updates are transactional and continue regardless, because you need them.

Cookies

We use cookies to keep your bag between visits, to keep you logged in, and to measure traffic and advertising. Blocking them will break the bag and the checkout.
